Create this stunning 18" x 18" pillow cover using the #SeasidePillow sewing pattern. Included are the full-sized pattern pieces, as well as full colour instructions which have clear digital diagrams (rather than hard to read photos) outlining how to construct the pillow.
The seaside scene features beach houses, a lighthouse, and a seagull that you use free-motion machine quilting (applique) to draw on the details. If you prefer, the applique can be stitched by hand or satin stitched on your sewing machine so there are many ways to complete this project. The panel can also be used for a quilt.
The closure on the pillow form is an envelope pocket style, rather than a zipper.
There is also a template and instructions on how to taper the corners of your pillow so that they lie perfectly flat once stuffed and do not have the 'dog ears' you get if you make a perfectly square pillow cover.
This is for a PDF pattern.
Files include: a print at home US Letter (tiled overlap) and A0 copy shop printable options, along with a fully illustrated instruction booklet. There is also a video Sew Along on YouTube and the blog section of our website that you can follow along with.
