The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with rights regarding how your data or personal information is treated. Sheer Stitchery Ltd. strives to making the art of sewing more accessible to all people. From the patterns we design to the video sewing classes.
Using both YouTube and the video Stitch Société classes we wanted to ensure you have access to multiple formats of instruction – regardless of how you learn best. All our sewing patterns include illustrated diagrams and written instructions to describe how to make a garment. We also provide access to the Sew Along video if you learn better by watching than reading instructions.
We are in the process of expanding all our patterns to include our new size range. Our newest patterns are graded from a Missy 2 though to a Curvy 36 with cup sizes A through H in every size range. We want to be as inclusive as we can when drafting our patterns.
If you are outside of our normal size range, send us an email and let us know! We are happy to help coach you in making adjustments to the current sizes or expanding our size range to include your measurements.
While we know that each design won’t suit everyone’s tastes, we aim to provide step-by-step fitting and pattern grading tutorials to better help you modify the sewing patterns to your style and body shape.
Makers and Sewists are a diverse group of people, and we strive to reflect that in our product and pattern imagery. We are in the process of re-drafting our patterns for our new size range and have a diversity of models (who all sew!). We are always on the hunt for models and patterns testers, so feel free to reach out to us to apply to become a model or pattern tester.
We are working hard behind the scenes to represent all Makers. We have outlined the steps we’ve taken so far but like many things in life, we’re still on the journey. There is always more that can be done, and we are working on making that happen. Bear in mind, we are a very small company and are doing everything we can to make your sewing experience the best it can be.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items or anything made to measure), and personal care goods (such as beauty products) and paper patterns and any digital downloads. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS AN ORDER?
For digital download products you will receive your digital product instantly.
For physical products that need to be shipped, please allow for 1-2 business days for your order to be processed for shipping. AWe make every effort to fulfill your order as soon as possible.
Are you located near Stony Plain, Alberta? We offer local pick-up (by appointment only). Just select the “local pick up” selection when processing your order and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to book a time to pick your order up.
DOMESTICATED SHIPPING RATES
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout and offer standard and expedited options. Domestic (within Canada) orders over $100 receive FREE shipping.
We offer standard and expedited shipping to the US and offer FREE shipping on orders over $200.
We offer international shipping to the rest of the world, as calculated at checkout.
NOTE: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Sheer Stitchery is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
CHECKING THE STATUS OF YOUR ORDER
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you selected standard shipping without a tracking option, you will not be able to track your order. We highly suggest you select the tracked or expedited options at checkout.
If you haven’t received your order within 30 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at email@example.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
